Match Report
Wrexham goalkeeper Geoff Atherton sustained a suspected broken finger during the pre-match warm up. Director, Will Dodman, who used to train British & European champion boxer Johnny Basham, was described as an expert in hand injuries. He put the bone back into position and Atherton went on to play the full ninety minutes with just the protection of gloves.
The treatment clearly worked as Atherton also saved a penalty from Penrhyn's K. Roberts in the second half!
