A very young Wrexham side travelled to Melwood for a practice match designed to help Liverpool marksman Robbie Fowler's return to fitness. The Anfield striker certainly impressed watching joint-manager Roy Evans with a six-goal salvo.
"We don't want to get too carried away with it and Robbie has really just played another game in his quest for fitness," explained Evans to the Liverpool Echo. "He did well and we are delighted with that."
