Wrexham ended a six-game losing streak to come from 3-1 down to beat Penmaenmawr in a seven-goal thriller at a mud-covered Crispin Lane.
Having conceded 32 goals in those six matches, including a 7-2 defeat against their opponents at Brown Wylfa Field just four weeks earlier, Colts player-coach Ray Wilkins felt that the heavy reversals were mainly due to players' promotions to the Reserves and other teams, as well as the heavy grounds.
"Some of these growing youngsters just haven't the strength to last 90 minutes under such strenuous conditions," explained the former Derby County striker.
In fairness, both sides struggled with the muddy conditions but the visitors adapted quicker racing in to a three goal lead through Mancini, Gerry O'Shaughnessey and Davies.
Arfon Griffiths pulled a goal back before the interval and by the hour-mark the scores were level after further strikes from Ray Williams and Gareth Salisbury. A few minutes later Idris Pryce slammed home the winner much to the delight of Wilkins.
