Match postponed as Wrexham were unable to raise a team. Wrexham secretary Tom Williams sent a telegram to his Rochdale counterpart on the Friday morning advising of the decision followed by a letter explaining that: "We could not get a bus to take us to Rochdale and, furthermore, the Army ban on players travelling by train made it impossible to get a team together."
