Manager's Programme Notes

Good afternoon Ladies, Gentlemen and Children, welcome to the Racecourse, for this the first game of the new season.

We also extend a hearty welcome to the Directors, Officials and Players of Exeter City Football Club and wish them a successful season, but not at our expense.

This afternoon we have two of our new players on show, firstly in goal Dave Gaskell, who was bought from Wigan during the summer after spending most of his career with the famous Manchester United. Dave is a very experienced keeper, having played in many big games with United. I am sure this experience will be invaluable to myself and the rest of the team.

The second new face is that of Bobby Park, who again has considerable experience in the 1st Division while with Aston Villa.

I hope you will join with me in welcoming Dave and Bobby to Wrexham and may there stay be a very happy and successful one.

Finally may I wish all our Supporters a successful season, with plenty of exciting games to watch, when they will be able to cheer and encourage our team towards victory.
