The match was called off the day before the game as the Racecourse pitch was frozen solid. Wrexham manager Jack Rowley said: "In these conditions there is a serious risk of injury to the players and it is not worth taking a chance. In any case I can't imagine many people turning out to watch a friendly game on a freezing night."
