Biography
Initially signed on non-contract terms from Llay Welfare on 13th October 1988. On 6th January 1994, in an interview with Chris' Llay Welfare manager Ken Swinnerton, the Evening Leader reported that "he arrived at the Racecourse via a £250 donation to Welfare...we had a good relationship with Wrexham and...in all I think we got around £1,000 which was a lot of money for an amateur club".
