Formed: 1904
Ground: Broughton Hall
Nickname: The Nomads

After playing a series of informal friendly matches, Chester Nomads was formed by a group of local youngsters eager to play the beautiful game. With no home ground, they decided to call themselves the Nomads and in 1906 the club was finally placed on a proper financial footing. Seven years later they moved to Broughton Hall Cricket Club on the outskirts of Chester and adopted the 'Gold and Black' racing colours of the Duke of Westminster. To this day they remain an amateur club and currently play in the Mid-Cheshire League.
